My friend had my camera and clicked “format memory card” and all my pictures were deleted. I downloaded a program and it brought up all the pictures I had on my card but to actually save them I had to buy a $40 key thing from them. All to get back MY pictures from MY memory card but whatever that’s a whole other thing.
It’s a SDHC 8GB memory card. Anyone know a completely free program that I can use to recover them?

I just bought a new camera (Lumix DMC-FZ35) and a Transcend 16GB SDHC card. When I try to upload the files from the memory card to my computer, the videos are only recognized as pictures, not video.
How can I get the video uploaded to my computer and YouTube from the memory card?
(I bought a SDHC card reader and that didn’t help.)
