Just bought a Pentax k10d and I am confused with all the choices regarding memory cards. PLEASE HELP! Scan Disk, Transcend, Lexar???

I think I want about 2GB, and of course I don’t want to wait 15 seconds between shots from my memory to write. But most of all, I want a good value. I don’t need to the fastest product if it’s going to cost me an arm and a leg.

i purchased a Transcend 8GB Jetflash V10 USB Flash from Walmart online about a 3 weeks ago. I recieved the product a few days ago and opened it, however i didnt use the flash drive for about a week and i had already thrown out the package, however, i still have the reciept. I plugged in the flash into a USB port of my PC, well for me is a $12,000 gaming machine, and the flash drive autoran a Trojan and fried my motherboard and all of its components. I am so f***ing p****ed. I took out the flash after there was nothing i could do and put it in my mac since it wouldnt work there. There were 2 files included the autorun that came up as positive for a trojan. But i deleted this files in common sense. I do not know what to do right now and i cant find a number for me to call transcend since i already know theres nothing walmart can do about a product that was not faulty on their part.
i have heard of Trojans being placed on flash drives by workers at the plant because they believe it is funny. I seriously doubt it is a coincidence, i ran 2 different virus detection programs

I have a psp but no memory card. It is modded and tricked out and i have many games, but they are on a dvd how do you get them off the dvd and onto the psp memory stick. And also how big of a memory card should i get. And what type of memory card should it be, is there a special type of memory card for games to be downloaded onto it? the transcend is cheaper and faster which is great but also vey suspicious. Is transcend a trusted brand? Reliability is way more important to me than speed or price, i dont want my pictures being lost, but i also dont want to spend more on an inferior card. so which should i get?
