The reason is I only have a 4gb built in hard drive. (EEE Pc) I want to place windows XP onto the flash memory, and never take it out, instead of moving parts of the Windows over to it to save space. I want to just load it onto the flash memory. How do I do this? I have no Floppy drive on either this computer or my desktop. I have an external dvd player for this computer and an internal for my desktop. Both of which burn dvds. I don’t know what I have to do, I read one place but it said I needed to burn dvds and use a floppy.
So, if someone can please explain to me how with what I have, that would be grately appreciated.
What about writing to a USB memory?
Well, I am new at using Flash Memory, and I didn’t know that its life is shorter when written to alot. So, whats a new suggestion then? As in, should I buy a USB or something? I prefer something that I can keep plugged into the computer because if I move it, I don’t want to have to find power, or have to carry around something larger then my computer, I prefer something small thats not the internal hard drive, cause its only 4gb, and I want something that will last. Is an external hard drive all that will work logically?
Umm, are you retarded? Windows can boot from wherever you want it to. Any drive is bootable, even a flash drive. You just have to configure the flash drive to boot. But, I had windows boot from an external hard drive, a non C hard drive on my main computer, its actually D. So,umm, Mac sucks, and I don’t care if you feel like window bashing, windows is much more user friendly then Mac. And it only has more attacks cause everyone uses it. And I know everyone says Macs secure, but its not, if everyone had Mac they would have viruses too, but since Windows has 80% of the computers, and Mac, Linux, Unix, etc., own the other 20%, its not more secure, just less attacked.
Sorry to attack back, but as much as I dislike Microsoft, I can’t deny that Windows is the best OS.
